Kozak Bio-Buvette offers Ukrainian specialties made from organic and regional products. This Basel-based Buvette is a member of the Slow Food Chefs Alliance, carries the "Fait Maison" label, and follows the Demeter Light concept.
Nestled beneath the soaring 28-meter-high octagonal shell vault, with its 60-meter span and eight-centimeter-thick walls, Kozak Buvette invites you to experience the finest soups in Basel, just a few steps from the SBB station in the heart of MarktHalle.
Kozak Buvette is the first Ukrainian restaurant in Switzerland and the first Demeter Light concept restaurant in Switzerland.
Its culinary offerings: Ukrainian and Eastern European cuisine.
Organic specialties: Vegetable soups (Borscht), old hen soup (Sup Palevoi), sauerkraut and beef stew (Bigos), market salad, polenta with porcini mushrooms (Banosh), pork steak, pancakes (Mlyntsi), and national drink with plums and apples (Kompot).
